I was enjoying the videos on youtube of the recent performances in Chile. Just when I thought I'd heard the most moving version of "Mirage" I'd ever heard, comes the big surprise... I don't know if/when (a) the video footage will be posted here that Michael once alluded to, or (b) if/when another commercial DVD will be released-but this tour must be even more special than most. So-I'm really pumped about the 2009 tour possibilities, especially if a U.S. tour comes together. And maybe, just maybe...perhaps another commercial DVD in the future. The music, the performances are phenomenal and deserve to be captured permanently. Salut!

I been listening to your records since i was a child (im actualy 20 years old) and im a fan of your music. i was about to scream you KING KONG!!! at the concert or maybe SUMMIT SOUL!! aajjajaja. It could be the title of one of your albums, but it's simply a description of how I felt and still feel during and after yesterday's gig here in Santiago de Chile. I invited my father-in-law, as he likes jazz, but hasn't been really in touch with fusion in general and particularly Ponty's music either. He was delighted, enjoying every part of the show, whistling and clapping each and every demonstration of virtuosism that the four musicians on stage offered to us, the grateful attendants. Thanks again for your music, for visiting our country and expecting to see you soon again. Sergio BTW: I got your last record at the gig and later noticed it is called "The Acatama Experience". Our desert and also the name of our 3rd Region is called ATACAMA (the "T" before the "C"). It seems to be a mistake or is it rather a "creative effort"? :-D Anyway, it is truly a remarkable job and it's now playing in my office ;-)

Bonjour ! Notre groupe de Jazz Rock Fusion, MOZAÏK Group ( www.myspace.com/mozaikgroup ) travaille actuellement sur des arrangements de "Enigmatic Ocean" et c'est un vrai plaisir. Nous aimons particulièrement la version du JL Ponty Tour 1982 avec Jamie Glaser à la guitare !! ( + de 20 ans déjà..) Je ne trouve pas par contre de relevé préçis des morceaux de JL Ponty. Je me suis acheté le JL Ponty Collection chez Hal Leonard, mais j'aimerais trouver d'autres relevés plus préçis...( enigmatic ocean) existe t il quelque chose car là, je suis perdu !!
